Getting around to cutting and buffing

About this Mopar:

Year
1968

Charger R/T
Been a minute getting to this point. Cutting with 2000 then 2500 wet. Polishing with 3M product & foam pads from TCP. Still have the hood, deck and front fenders to do. Probably another 20-25 hours.

Looks great..... You could probably cut that time in half if you used a different product than 3M but you have already bought it night as well use it. The only thing I could suggest is use their 3000 trizac pads

Thanks Eric
I used UreChem from The Coating Store. I used 3 kits to paint the Charger inside and out. Each kit was around $400.00 bucks, both the base and clear sprayed out sweet. I sprayed 3 coats of base and 4 coats of clear.

looks great, one day planning to paint my charger and hoping it turns out that nice. Stage 1 or 2 on the paint?

Thanks Dave! Paint was a 2 stage base/clear. Wasn't too difficult just had to have some patience a spray booth and clean dry air. HLVP gun with DeKups helped with clean up and waste was kept to a minimum. Good luck with your paint job brother :drinks:
