Found My 69 GTX

After a year or better of looking I found a 69 GTX

About this Mopar:

69 GTX in fire mist blue metallic in unbelievable great shape. It is about
3 and 1/2 hours away from Palm Bay Florida. I want to thank Joe and
his dad Jim here on FBBO for helping me with acquiring the GTX. After
much beating and thrashing on my phone I believe I can now upload
some pictures. I think she looks good for 51 years old. Mike

Now the fun starts-congrats!
The fun will be short lived as the two rockers on the lower quarter panels and floor in the trunk need the rust repaired.
Decided to cut out the floor in the trunk which will give me
access to the wheel tubs that need some work and the in
side of the lower quarters to clean up rust. Then clean up
the exterior of the lower panels . Then glass both the in
and outer lower panels. I have ordered the floor pan for
the trunk and that's just weld the new floor panel. Mike
Now the fun starts-congrats!
The absolute sweet part is my girlfriend is almost rust
free. The 2 back lower panels and the trunk pan and
part of the tubs need work. The rest of the car is amazing.
I already know my girl runs and drives. Have I told you
that I am in love? Mike
Quick update to the GTX - I am going up this Saturday to pick
my new girlfriend and bring her back to Palm Bay. Will post pics
once I get her home. Mike
So glad you found your dream car. Yes it dose need some TLC. But sure you will get it wiped into shape. Make it the car you want. Not bad for 51 years old.:thumbsup::thumbsup:
