My 62 Polara 383

I got this car about 5 months ago. It is a 1962 dodge Polara HT. Been working the bugs out.

About this Mopar:

It has a .060 over 383 with the dealer installed dual 4 barrels. 413 exhaust manifolds, Torque Flite, 3.94 Sure Grip. Paint job is a 15 footer.
It was redone in 2004-2005 by Ben Danhoff.

Wanted one since 1963.

A neighbor of mine had one of these when I was fifteen ,four speed. Took me for a ride, that's when I became a hot rodder, scared the crap out of me. Beautiful car,thanks for posting.

Sweet, like the older Mopars. These are the real beginnings of the muscle car movement. No one gives them the recognition they deserve.
