The Torque Thrust wheels use shank lug nuts I bought extra long ones thinking I might need to use spacers. I’ll cut them to the length needed for full thread engagement.

keep in mind how much thread engagement you have at the hex. no hex engagement will probably cause the shank to fail.

It actually has no thread engagement now. The studs are flush with the wheel.

On my 70 Road Runner, I have 275/60R15s on the rear and 245/60R15s on the front. All rims are 8" rims with 4 1/2" backspacing.

We tried them on my buddies 67 GTX to test fit. After some wiggling and trouble, we were able to get the 275s on the car, but they likely would have rubbed around any corner or bump. The 245s seemed to fit much better.

He ended up getting 245/60R15s on 7 inch rims. Here is a picture. The car is still undergoing restoration so no driving experience yet.

I ran 275 60 -15s for years
on an 8 inch 4.5" backspace
I loved the way they filled out the wheel well
but they rubbed every time I hit a bump
I got tired of of the pucker factor with each bump
I went to 255 60 15s and no more rubbing
Close to the same tread width and the drag radials hook really nice
