Does anyone remember an article about on transmissions on new Rams?Dealt with torque convertors being weak.Got a buddy who came to the darkside now 03 Ram is acting up.It was used may to be flushed.I seen an article in Mopar Muscle awhile back.

a friends ram was acting up ,the machanic found that the harness going to the trans was corroded from all that crap they put on the roads in winter.might want to check that .

I've seen this before , but it was from Mud and dirt from 4 Wheeling.

been working for dodge for a few years now, no common trans issues with those. the only issue was for delayed engagement. required both filters to be changed and problem gone !

Thanks, talked to buddy 2day.Delay is when it goes into overdrive.Gonna check harness. Are there 2 filters on tranny or did you mean fluild&filter both? He's gonna change both.

depends on what trans is in your truck, some only had one flat paper filter, others had that flat one and a spin on filter (like your oil filter) .... you need to get a hold of a scan tool and do a "quick learn" on it also .

It had only flat filter in the pan.Havent talked to him yet, thanx for help.
