I have seen many pictures of you guys running 10 inch wheels on the back of your 68-70 b-bods. What kinda mods were used, if any? I measured and without any mods (moving in springs and such) a 5.5 inch back spacing would work fine. I really want to run a 10 inch cragar, but cant seem to find a 10 inch with any more than a 4.5 back spacing. thanks for any input.

You will have to get a wheel made for you.I'm not sure if crager does a custom build

I went to my local discount tire and they matched ant internet price I could find and Cragar would make any offset/ back space that you wanted 10.00 a wheel and production time3-4 weeks that you please.
When I got mine I saw why. The centers are all the same, the hoops are all the same so for them it is only a matter of where in the hoop they place the center when it is time to weld it in. The problem I did have is that the danged center cap ( made in china) did not come with a long enough screw to hold it on to the wheel Made in the USA.
And they offer the uni lug and The Conical correctly spaced, one pattern fits only one pattern. After owning the uni lug,NEVER AGAIN conical all the way and I dont care that they are 20.00 more a wheel.
Uni Lug is a PIA.

How about the front. I want to run a 15x8 factory style steel wheel, Wheel Vintique offers it in two back space sizes, 4" and 4 1/2". Which backspace is best and what size tire are you guys running? (btw, I plan on keeping my drum brakes) 1968 RR

Give me a couple of days, and I'll measure what I used. I had Appliance mags (looked like Cragar SS) at 15 X 10", with N50-15 Formula 1 Super Stock tires - 12" tread. They just fit inside the rear wells on my '70 road runner.
