18 year old held without bail, facing 20 years on terrorism charges......

Bullshit. Let him rot. Let him be accountable for a threat to kill people. He can get out in 20 years and work for a University to further pollute the species. Nothing to do with the first ammendmant.

Waiting to hear more about the case, and exactly what else he posted that was considered "terrorist threats". In this day and age, most anything volatile can be scrutinized. Not saying it's right or wrong, just saying unless you're living under a rock for the last decade, you probably should be more intelligent about what you post publicly.

I remember back in the 80's, the band Suicidal Tendencies were questioned by the FBI for their lyrics "I shot Reagan", hahaa. guess nothing's changed? Weeks in jail though, sounds like the judge is trying to make an example of this kid. No matter how much of an idiot he is, I kinda feel sorry for the kid.

Imagine the kind of **** WE ALL might've posted back at that age, if we had the Internet?! Hahahaa, scary...

Don't go easy on the guy, teach him & any other, after him, a lesson in life, there's no more screwing around with that type of crap anymore, ever....

Where do you draw the line? Who gets to decide?

Kid is an idiot, but. I feel like he has a right to say what he did.

If people didnt get all up in arms about words, maybe we'd take more action.
Its music. No biggie.

Just my own personal $.02

Sui-psycho Mike-o for president!

hahah I'm sure his politics would go over well here on fbbo !

I'm a Jello Biafra follower forever. I like speaking my mind, and I like it when others do too. You shouldn't ever have to be scared to speak your voice, anywhere.

I'm surely not afraid to speak my mind & often do just that... I believe in free speech too, but you also can't be too careful, especially with all the twisted people, Progressive Liberal teaching, anarchists, terrorists, socialism, spewing hatred, wanting to harm innocent people, that all seem to want to take it out on the infidels or non believers nowadays...

What I find real screwed up is we throw the book at this punk kid who did something stupid but we welcome the muslim extremists into our country on school visas, give them a full ride scholoship, let them pay no taxes, and we are told to be 'tolerant' of them.... all while we wait for them to blow up someone or something. What a mess we've made out of this once great country....

Nice! Suicidal was just here a month or so ago, incredible show. I felt like an old fogey, but it was still awesome, front row, lol. I believe Jello might've actually relocated to Denver too? A friend said he's been seen around town lately, at shows and stores, weird.

As for giving immigrants student visas, keep in mind 99.99% (not a real stat, heh.) of them are just fine and our colleges only give a free ride if they earn it by competitive scholarship academically, just like any American would have to. If they work, they pay taxes too, if it's over a minimal amount earned in a year.

One should instead look at figures showing all the terrorist incidents (and mass shootings), who the offenders were, and how many were immigrants vs. average Joe citizen.

Overseas is a different story, but I'm talking just within the U.S.

If nothing else, this aught to straighten this horses a$$ right out. But this certainly could have tried something to make a name for himself.

From snopes.com:
The bomb threat allegedly made by D'Ambrosio was a Facebook posting where he bragged: "F*** a boston bomb wait till u see the s*** I do, I'm be famous rapping, and beat every murder charge that comes across me!"

D'Ambrosio had disturbing photos and posts on his Facebook page including F!!! politics, F!!! Obama and F!!! the government!!.

According to police reports, D'Ambrosio has a history of making violent threats, once to his sister and once to a pair of eighth graders. Police responded to an incident in 2006 in which a neighbor reported that D'Ambrosio bit her son on the arm during a fight. In September 2012, another student severely beat D'Ambrosio, rupturing his spleen and putting him in the hospital, over a Facebook post by D'Ambrosio about the student's girlfriend. At a 9 May 2013 hearing, a judge called D'Ambrosio a threat to the community and ordered him held without bail for up to 90 days: "I believe the behavior here has been escalating," Judge Lynn Rooney said after reviewing a half dozen records of police and probation reports prosecutors submitted at the hearing. "And it's very troubling."

Exactly why we can't take any chances anymore, if your that freaken' dumb, to post the chit on Facebook, you need to be thinned out of the herd anyway... start the culling....

Funny there is no mention of it here in my own state.

There was no threat to kill anyone...

There are so many musicians who talk about commiting violence, murder and destruction. why pick on this kid?

I can understand following up and searching his house or whatever, but they locked him up even after finding ZERO evidence of anything pertaining to a terror threat/attack.

Don't go easy on the guy, teach him & any other, after him, a lesson in life, there's no more screwing around with that type of crap anymore, ever....

IMO a life lesson isn't being arrested without bail and face 20 years because you said something people find offensive.

Yes he did threaten to kill people. Can't do that. You may agree with his assessment of the Whitehouse, but he went too far. Needs to watch his mouth and words.

Here in the states, I don't know about Canada, But if you threaten someone, even in a lame crappy song, IMHFO your still committing a crime, it's an act of violence or to cause/incite a violent act, no matter how miniscule, there is no excuse for all the cRappers &/or any other Musician/Lyricists writing or singing/vocalizing all these hate &/or crime songs, no matter how vaguely or blatantly threatening anyone, hiding under the cover of a song or lyrics, is BS, it's still completely wrong... To me, It's the generational thing & total lack of respect for others, that's how the youth is being raised today in many places...

It's almost like one of those situations where you want to be passionate about defending the Constitutional First Amend. rights of even douchebags like the Klan, BUT there is a limit. Obviously post-9/11 especially, you can't just make threats under the guise of your "right to say anything". As for taking this too far by throwing him jail, I'm taking a guess that the Judge saw a lot more evidence and history than we know about. Until we know more FACTS, I'll side with the judge, lock that brain-donor up!

Not to mention "common sense & decency" which is obviously sorely lacking in the world, especially amongst brat teens like this clown.

Here's an interesting legal concept I ran into in my law days. Totally relevant, and applicable here IMO.

if they can prove him guilty then punish him to the max, next time he want be so stupid,he will be older and wiser and fresh from prison, some times that is the best lesson, some of these young and old generation of people go way to far with their hatred and disrespect for people, even trying to kill people because they disagree with them on anything.
