I'm in the middle of ordering my wheels from Bonspeed. I want to buy 18x9's for the front and 19x10's for the rear.
The problem is, that I've got my car totally assembled because of a full restoration. The engine and trans are out. The easy way to simulate is use a jack and measuring the ride height from fender to wheel center.
I'm using stock reinforced K-member, stock Uca's and Lca's. Dr.Diff's 13" rotors with my own made Porsche caliper brake setup. Caliper clearance is no problem.
With a 9 inch wheel the total will be 10 with the lips and tires mounted.
My question is which backspacing do I use with a 18x9 wheel? Doesn't the UCA hit the wheel when going over a bump with?
