BTW.. since we are talking '62s... on my car the tops of the quarters at the doors are like 1/4" in.. which i had no idea happened after years of people slamming doors.. i honestly though "Man.. mopar just didn't care if stuff fit back then" I saw you can use a portapower on the inside to put them back out.. just curious if there is a way to fix that without taking the interior back out? having lines that far off makes me nuts every time i see it.

You can actually see it in the rear pic of mine above

Looks great, I need a larger garage for all my 62's.:BangHead:

Hope this is within the rules, I am in the middle of fabricating CF rear quarter panel the chrome louver trim panels ala the Polara 500's.
I have no interest in marketing them, but I might have a few extra when I start the one time run. The OEM one's are rather heavy. I plan to make mine functional to help ventilate the trunk, but that is another story. Also note L & R trim attachments are mirror image. I am not intending to make these "show" quality. If interested let me know.

Thanks.. i have my old ones but they are not very good... might just use them.. would i would like to find are ones that use a nut on the back instead of just pushing through.,. gonna see if i can find something later today..

Thats what i ended up doing on the quarter trim where it had just plastic clips that snap if you touch them...

I think your right. It uses a combo of type of clips. Of course I only took pics of the one I couldn't find! Most you can get to the nut on the back. The one I have pictured was like the last two that you can reach the back (last two before the door starts?)

yup.. i have 4 of the spring clips, they just aren't holding as tight as i would like.. and you know how easy it is to find trim for a 62 if something goes wrong :)

Is the Belvedere Trim same as the Dart? I know Savoy is different.
