Help please. Need a photograph of 1964 B-body bench seat belt bolt locations. Driver's side shot looking down to pick-up the relationship of the bolts. Maybe a 2nd shot of the hump. I know i should have taken another photo before replacing the carpet. Thank you! Bob

Just heat up a 1/4" rod to cherry red and stick it up through the carpet. It will melt through and give you a hole to use,

Mike,
Thanks. Under the car, I used a needle for the bench seat holes and gas pedal holes.
The duel exhaust pipes go by the seat belt hump holes. I might take it to the garage on a lift.

Best I can do is a ‘65. I would feel around for the hole, maybe with a screwdriver until you feel a soft spot and then use an awl to see of you can poke thru. Then a hot rod/soldering iron to make the hole.

BigFlo,
Thanks for the photograph!
On the drive shaft hump, do the threaded holes go all the way through the sheet metal or are they closed? HOLE GOES THRU.
Based on the photo, i will give your suggestions a try.
When I am successful, I will re-post.
Ok SUCCESS. From under the car, managed to fish a SS wire thru the bolt hole.
Thanks all for the help!!
Bob

The holes go thru the sheet metal. There is a reinforced metal plate that is welded on the underside of the floor pan, with a nut welded to that plate.
