Was driving the Fury a couple of days ago all bolts fell out of the transmission converter. Has anyone had this happen? Car has a 727 trans with a 426 max wedge

Never had that happen before. I recently started using blue loctite to ensure they don't back out. 440'

All bolts? I don't understand how they could all fall out. As mentioned, a drop of loctite is your friend to prevent it happening again.

Thanks. Have it all tore down. the bolt came off and hit the cam shaft plug. chipped it a little and looks like it got pushed some. not sure if it needs to be changed.

loc tite is right , on mine we went to 7/16 bolts . we could torq them more , are little converter cause the issues . hope those bolts didn't screw up your block or pump when they hit everything on the way out . might have screw'd up the threads on the converter as well .

Never had it happen because I always tighten them using locktite.

Any damage that you know of? I'd be concerned about the front seal and worse yet the pump. You might luck out :praying:

It was probably missing all of the bolts accept one and then that one either fell out or broke off. For all of them to fall out at the same time would have made a racket.
