i have a 1964 Plymouth fury and i want to change the lower control arms what is the procedure to remove them and replace them ? car is on a hoist

Unload the torsion bars, slide them back. Disconnect the lower ball joints at the spindle. Remove the strut rod bolts at the K frame end. Unbolt the LCA stud at the K frame, remove the LCA and strut rod together, it will require a little finagling. Or you can unbolt the strut rod from the LCA and remove just the LCA. YMMV.
