1966 Belvedere 1 cars in general

I am so old and wore out, building anything is such a struggle. I have always done it all myself, 95% of it all. Common sense tells me to finish the two projects I have!

Cool....I just turned 69 and have projects from the 1930's up to the 70's and one 1981 Dodge LRE type clone....trying to get busy and cull a few. Going to be cutting lose my D-500 Dodge and 1956 300 clone along with my drop top A body Cuda.

Yep - mine are all going to the Pate Swap meet next year - have had spaces since 1977 and looking to surpass the 3 running cars Mopar sale I did a few years back - sold a 1966 hardtop - 1967 wagon I miss badly and a 1969 hardtop.

I am 77 and I have a slowly debilitating muscle disease. I lose muscle strength ever so gradually. If I move too quick and fall over backwards, I usually knock myself out. No drugs for such, only thing that helps is exercise. I don't have the strength to exercise as I would like. I still love the old car hobby and I have my projects and dreams. I still get a thrill every time I complete even the smallest of task. Like the man said, stop dreaming and die.

Good thing I have a good wife. She spent 2 hours watching and helping when I asked , just this morning. I was under the car on my back, clamping, welding and then using the impact and cut off wheel to get ride of the trailer bumper hitch some PO put on there, many decades ago. I got it done (2 hours), one leg cramp, a few welding burns, (no, I did not cut of any limbs with the wheel of death) I was able to crawl (sorta) out of from under the car, and she helped me get back up.

No, I am not tough, I am just not ready to completely give up. I come close some days. God gave me life, I am obligated to use it as long as I can.
