Finally made some progress these past couple months, and thought I’d share.
Here;s what I started with:
Looks pretty solid.
Ready to go get painted under the hood.
Good, mostly srtaight, solid quarters.
Note lack of factory antenna and aftermarket dual rear antennas.
(Might leave them) Opinions?

Body shop was too busy...maybe me and the bro can do it ourselves.
Whoops, here’s reasonably unmolested engine compartment.
Gotta put them hoses and wires back eventually.

Here’s engine comp all striped.
Didn’t feel like F’n with a/c box, so removed nuts and pushed back.
Probably should have.

Here’s shot of double stamped SO number on core support.
Wonder how common that is?

Ahhhhh, fresh YY1!

Bro’s 66 361 Sat in background.
It's also supposed to be YY1.
Help me talk him out of painting it a different color!

Bro (in law)’s 66 Sat. He’s come a long way, but he’s got a long way to go.
Anyone see the sail panel pics in the parts wanted section?
This is a MAJOR improvement! Thanks Brian (48Limo)!!!
We just scored a nice deck lid and bumper for his car, $75 each last weeekend.
...from a 4D parts car...I think we will go back and cut off the 98% good quarter to use as a patch.

Those are my $10 each craigslist 14x7 Ford magnum 500s. Cost me twice that for the centers!

Thanks for the positive comments. Not doing show quality, but going for very nice driver (cause I want to drive it) Pisser body shop said $900 to repair dents in radio delete fender. I have a line on a straight one that has minor rust at bottom, and will try welding hole closed. Not happy about not being able to keep original.

Next up is front suspension rebuild and disk brake conversion.
Also floor pan sand blast and minor patching.

...and those are $10 harbor freight furniture dollies under the Sat wheels. No prob supporting the weightm but casters don't have the smoothest bearings.

Very nice car with some real rare options, what a score.

I've only seen three others.

Two 4 speeds non-A/C and 1 auto with A/C and P/W!!!

Cool car...I really like seeing them in their original 60's colors.Something gets lost when they're painted with modern paint colors.Gonna be really unique when it's all done.

looking good, nice color i'd keep the dual antenna's gives it that natalgic look (IMO).

Updates from March and April.

In this series we have:

Old LCA ready to come off.
Bro's new quarter patch from 4D parts car.
New UCA polygraphite bushings and UBJ.

My "other" project- in parallel.

This was FUN to do by myself!

My "garage" is actually a pole barn disguised as a normal garage.

I know I'm doing it backwards. Maybe next year I can afford a floor.
