1966 Satellite "pushrod" between single master cylinder & power booster

Can this rod be adjusted out to gain more pedal distance from the floor ??
If yes....do you have to use thread lock so it doesn't move ????
Any suggestions....
I'm also missing 1 plastic guide......where could I find that piece ???

That will not lift your pedal. It needs to be adjusted so it is not pushing on the mc piston, at rest. A few thou. clearance Is all you want. The way I see it, lifting the pedal will require lengthening the rod between the pedal and the power booster linkage.
