Hi Everyone,
Hoping Christmas was joyous for you, and that the New Year brings many good things!
I have two questions I'm hoping the more knowledgeable (than me) members can help me with. I think I'm on the right track but would like to confirm a few things.
I have a bone stock complete 440 out of a 1967 Imperial which is going in my 1969 Sport Satellite (currently 318/904). The 440 is a factory A/C motor with all brackets and I have the Schumacher kit for the swap.
I'm temporarily switching to non- A/C for the initial install and swap, but will later reinstall the correct (original) pulleys, etc. to go with aftermarket A/C. I bought the correct parts from Randy Bouchillon (pulleys and alternator bracket) and they're going on the engine.
My mechanic just wants to confirm whether the P/S set-up will need anything else to align properly, i.e., with the non-A/C pulley/bracket set-up, and whether the kickdown linkage from the C Body 440 will work in my B Body?
As always, thank you for the benefit of your experience.
