I'm 38 going on 39, I had a 67 back in high school that some drunk *** rear ended me and totaled it. I found a 66 with a 383 at a auction a few years back and intended on restoring it, but life and $ got in the way. I found my 67 a couple towns away and for the price and shape it was in figured I would go this route. I have a few other Mopars in my life but now i'm putting all attention on my 67 so the 71 D-100 SWB will have to wait or be sold, I traded a nice 71 to my brother back in 2007 for a mud truck with a bad *** 440 that I had planned on shoe horning into the 71 but now like I said all extra $ is going into the 67 I have now to make my dream come true. I do have a very understanding wife that is behind me 100% on this build so woohoo for me. I'm glad to find this forum I still have many things to learn and look forward to learning them here.

Congrats, and stay focused on what you really want.

Nice! Good luck on the build! I am particularly fond of the '67 coronets. I am building an R/T clone as well. If you have any questions or need some parts, let me know!

That 440 will slide in like a foot in a broke in shoe.....as long as it has the BB K frame....get a mini starter if using headers...and remflex gaskets for the headers

welcome to FBBO from Hot & Dry NorCal

good luck, great to have an understanding wife too

Rock on Brother!

I just spent some time working on my 67 coronet, it's not an RT and it's not a clone, it's a 500 with a badass built 440.

If your interested, here is what I did: 1967 Coronet - Billings Montana

Not a full resto, but I had a very solid base to start with which still has all the original glass, floor pans and trunk pan.

I went hotrod build, and it is fun as **** every weekend. Hardly a mile goes by that someone doesn't give me a thumbs up, big smile or come and talk at the gas station or wherever.

You need to start a restomod thread Modog, so we can see your progress.

Have Fun and peg the meter...
