1968 Charger, Ray Barton 528 Hemi, Pro-touring.

Put a lineLock on front brakes with an on/off switch, that will fool them.

That is one of several advantages of having an "antique" license plate registration in Louisiana.
No "brake tag" or inspection sticker required...ever.
Agree - it's the same in Pennsylvania. With an antique tag there is never a need for an inspection.

Now I'm not complaining in the least, but it does make some sense to require an inspection after a restoration or when you acquire a car at least. These cars don't drive much, but one with bad brakes could cause an accident as well as any other car.

Same in Sweden also, when a car turns 50 years you'll never need to do an inspection again, I just need to do one now since it's a newly registrered car. But with that said, I believe it would be a good idea to have a more simple mandatory check, brakes, lights, just the basic stuff to make sure cars are roadworthy and not dangerous.

I think I sorted out the em.brake.
I contributed to this issue by myself I believe.. I wanted the fuel and brake lines neatly running along the frame rail snd raised the em.brake bracket to run lines underneath. I should have done a sturdier bracket. What I did now was a bolted support bracket. Now it's dead solid with zero flex. Much better brakes now, hope it's enough for the inspection!
Anyhow, it gave me an excuse to buy a new tool, a popnut set!

Nice fabrication work!

I'm eager to get the custom "528 hemi" RT-stripe done but does anyone have a RT-stripe file for printing? Format should be either ".eps" or ".ai". The stripe has a bend in it that's difficult to calculate.
