Piece of foam as an anti rattle between the fork and rod. Also holds it in place to put the assembly in the door.

Looking for door glass channels and quarter window front edge rubber.
They offer flocked and unflocked and I have no idea what my car came with?

Any suggestions on kits available? It seems buying the individual parts adds up very quickly.

Still waiting for my $200+ window channels and seals to arrive.
Going to put the car back on the rotisserie while I wait. Still need to install the fuel tank, shocks, etc.

I have figured everything out except the upper bolt. And yes, Year One finally got my order filled. They claimed the first shipment was lost during shipping.

In the picture below, looking to the right side, you see the lower attaching bracket and bolts. It is the one directly above that which I am not certain about. Anybody have a picture of that bolt?

Now if you had of asked yesterday... lol. The bolt for the upper hole is about 1.75" long, captive washer

Turns out my original order from YearOne somehow got lost during shipping.
They sent out another order which arrived in a couple of days.

Today I installed the front channel guide and rear seal in the back channel guide.

I looked long and hard for the adjuster rod retainer but really couldn't find anything that looked like the picture in my Service Manual.
So I decided to make my own out of rubber fuel line.

The rod will move when pressure is applied and the rubber will hold it in place.
Please let me know if there is more to it than this?

By the way, the original order from Year One arrived about a week ago. Since it was $186.81 with shipping, I contacted them about returning the unopened package to them. They have never responded to me. So anyone needing a set of these, I can make you a sweet deal on them.

I am having some problems getting this vent window seal in place. It fits pretty decent everywhere but this inside corner. The center pin lined up but you can see where it really isn't clearing the lock catch or reaching fully into the corner.

Wondering if it has shrunk over the years and needs replacing?

I have the originals. Just cleaned them up and reinstalled them. My concern is that they no longer seem to fit properly.
I saw the Precisions advertised and Detroit Muscle Technologies claims that theirs are the soft rubber version where others are hard rubber.
So I am wondering if the new ones fit better?

The originals should fit the best, you're missing tucking it in somewhere I bet (along the front edge for sure). Precision wasn't perfect, but I did manage to get it in pretty well.

I'm trying to remember how that flapped tucked in, or sits out. I'll have to look at a car tomorrow... will browse my pics I have in house shortly.

Thanks for the pictures.
I will pull them back out and try reinstalling them by starting in the tight corner by the latch.
Those Precision ones do seem to fit pretty well.

I tried everything I could think of to get the seal to reach that corner but I did start inserting the seal at the top corner and worked down.

Best I can do for sequence... appears I started top and then down the front edge, then the rest.

Well, I took it back out and started at the tight corner. It took a lot of effort even with some soapy water applied but did finally go in.
No perfect but much better.
Wish I had the money to get some of this re-chromed but for now I will just claim it keeps some originality.
