You could spray it with oven cleaner and / or take a pressure washer to it

There are some rattle can spray paints if you're so inclined to replicate bare aluminum

Scrubbed the casing and tail housing, then spray painted them.

Waiting for the rebuild kit to get here so in the mean time, working on getting all the exterior parts cleaned painted.

Took the pump assembly apart to clean and inspect.

The rebuild kit should arrive on December 24th, so I will post more progress pictures soon.
