I’m totally impressed with how clean you got your rails, crossmember and engine bay. I’m doing floor pans now and your work is much cleaner than mine! Getting the inside corners of the frame rails clean is a struggle.
Yes, but I would not recommend it. The hardest part was welding the top of the brace at the firewall, I could barely see what I was doing.
Finally getting to some of the fun stuff. I still need to order torsion bars, it’s just been a busy couple of weeks. Once the front is back together, I will begins working on the rear.
Some more slow progress. Touched up the black behind the grill. Put in the front brake lines. Re installed the grill and started installing the spindles and rotors.
Hi guys. Well I have been staying busy working on my charger. There hasn’t been a lot of progress, mostly cleaning and painting parts. I am slowly chipping away at my list of things to do. I just wanted to post up some pictures since I know everyone loves pictures.
The inner fenders and bottom of the car are Eastwood chassis black extreme aerosol cans. The paint is pretty easy to work with, it doesn’t get runs really easy or anything. It’s pretty stinky stuff though.
Well it’s been a while since I have made it over to this site. I usually post my progress on Instagram. Ive been working a bunch of overtime and doing family stuff, but I’m slowly getting things done on my Charger. I just got the headers installed last week and now I’m working on buttoning up the wiring and fuel system.
Hey guys, i just wanted to upload Some progress pictures from my build. I went with a 2 1/2” tti h pipe exhaust with flowmaster mufflers. Everything fit great. I just had to make offsets so the exhaust would match up with my Doug’s headers.
I rebuilt my 8 3/5 with a doctor diff center section with 3.55’s, his axles and brakes. Everything seems to be working great.
I even ran into Kern dog the first week I had her back on the road. It’s a small world. I’ve only managed to put 100 miles on her since she’s been roadworthy. Work is crazy busy and there are a few little things I want to address on the car.
