First Off Thanks Everyone For Helping Me With The Parts I Have Needed So Far!!! Second What We Have Is 1969 Superbee 2 Dr Post, Factory 383,727,Bench Seat,Ralley Dash,Ramair,Side Scoops, No Ac,No Power Brakes, It Has Ps But Its Factory dark Green coloR. I Have The Buck Tag For The fender. Iwould Like To Paint It B-5 Blue Iknow It Will Hurt It Some But To What Extent Is It A Rare Enough Car Or Is It A Common Bee??

Being that it is a plain 69 Bee, I don't think it will hurt the value that much and may actually increase the value if you repaint to a more desirable color.

Kind What I Was Hoping!!! Its On A Rotisserie And Being Green Was Hoping Blue Or Orange Would Be A Better Color If I Ever Decided To Sell....

I've had my share of green cars and don't really care for it that much either.....I'd paint it too.

Make yourself happy "that's all that matters".

It can/will hurt the value some, but only if it's a full on 100% OEM #'s Matching Correct Restoration, Mopar buyers are kind of fickled like that sometimes, but IMHFO it won't hurt the value all that much, as long as if it's a quality job... I personally like green, but would paint it what ever color floats your boat, only the most diehard of purists or overly opinionated fender tag readers, will say anything usually anyway, don't let that detour you... I say build it how you want it, paint it the color you want to... it's not going to be an excessively high dollar car anyway, as it's a base model 383ci 727 auto Post Coupe Super Bee with a couple options {not that there's anything wrong with that at all, they're great cars, just not a high dollar or rare car}, might as well enjoy it, if a color change does that for ya, then I say just do it... Merry Christmas

I think it would appeal to a wider range of potential buyers if you painted it either of those although I think the green is gaining a new appreciation. I don't think a color change will negatively affect value and would more than likely increase the buyer pool. However having said that I would paint it whatever color you would like best and not choose strictly for resale value.

I personally think it would be easier to sell with a color change from green, although I kind of like F8 on these cars. I am restoring a F3 triple green 69 Charger and debated a long time on the color to paint it. I ultimately decided on triple black. It seems cars that are green, tan, brown, or other bland colors are sitting for sale a long time. Whereas red, orange, or black cars are changing hands faster. I recently sold a 69 RR T7 convertible to a dealer in Ohio and was told they could have given me another 5K if it would have been red or black.

And that T7 convert was / is nnnnniiiiiiiiicccccccccccccceeeeeee

I thought so too tallhair. But as you know, it is still sitting for sale - I believe because of the color.

The ramair and side scoops options brings the car above the "just plain model". Me personally I would keep it the F8 and go with a black interior and maybe a black vinyl top. Just my opinion though.
