Hi guys,

is there anyone out there who knows about 4-Speed transmissions? I´ve got a 1968 Dodge Charger with a 1970 440 casting number 2536430. I would like to convert it from automatic to 4-Speed but there are so many bellhousings, transmission cases and tail shafts out there. Can anyone tell me which one should fit my engine. Or does anyone konw a good website which helps you finding the right parts. I found a transmission on here I´d like to buy but I got no idea if it will fit to my engine. Thanks guys!

Well, you can use a 10.5 inch bell or a 11 inch bell, your choice. That will dictate the size flywheel and clutch also. You can use any 66 and up 4 speed case, tailshaft, along with your current automatic yoke (they are the same). You can go to Brewer's or Passon's web site and overload on the wealth of info, or just call them.

Call brewer's and get everything you need. It will save you money most likely and definitely save you time. It requires allot more than you think.
