1970 B-Body Factory floor pan screw up??

I say it’s a factory mistake. The seam sealer matches the firewall to floor seam sealer in color and application sloppiness.

Correct and matches the firewall to floor sealer....quick fixes on the line required quick use of nearby materials....they did not have QC like they do now...

It has all the appearance, age etc to possibly be a factory line mistake....

to me the auto shift rod tower looks wrong.

could be the pic though.
