1970 B Body RB 493 heat soaked starter

1970 B Body RB 493 heat soaked starter tried to install heat shield but no room I have a stroker RB 493 with Trick flow 240 heads long tube Headman headers ball sockets. Have a Hi torque minis starter kinda looking at TTI long tube heasers ceramic coated looking to see if anyone has any possible experience with this set up any suggestion for a possible solutions

get a starter heat shield
or like a DEI heat wrap or something of that sorts

& yes TTI headers (especially ceramic coated) will help some
if they are clear of the starter more,
you can wrap the header by the starter too
they don't recommend it with the ceramic coating IIRC
but sometimes you just have to do, what you have to do

Whose starter are you using? On my 65 with the TTI's, I'm aware you have Hedmans, they spec out a 9523 Powermaster or a RobMc starter as being the only ones fitting. I got the 9523. It has 4 clockable positions.
