My guess is your motor and arm don't belong together...
That appears to be a two speed wiper arm... What motor have you got?

3 speed motor, 3 speed switch, I think the linkage is the one that was on the car. Eldubb440 provided a pivot but I think I kept the actual arms separated. I gave the parts I didn't use back to him. Any pic of the 3 speed linkage arm handy? Part number?

The arm is 2822273 but the linkage that travels over to the wiper post is also different....

I worked on the AC. The rubber lines would land on the exhaust manifold, so to stop this, I am making a bracket out of a heater hose holder. Same job different side of the engine. I had to fabricate a twisted mount to support the the lines. I am attaching it to the exhaust manifold. Didn’t want to use the valve cover bolts. I will post a picture of the bracket when it's finished.

I got this wheel for the R/T years ago. It’s a 1968-69 wheel that is all original and unrestored. This might be too nice to put on my r/t. It has no cracks and unpainted chrome. I’ve been saving this wheel

for 20 years waiting to put it one the car. I am not sure I have it in me to drill 1970 holes for the ring.

I put a notch in the classic auto air control so I use the stock lights. I made a harness for the new lights with a donor car’s wires so they can be plugged in without altering the original harness.

Blower did fit. It was tight. Fuse box has to be moved and the bracket and drain tube left off until it’s in.

R/T has heat now. The factory kept those heater hoses neat and tidy in the engine bay.
Ac is totally in and holding at -30 vacuum. Classic auto air takes up very little room compared to the oem units from 1970.
I do have a problem. One of the lines sits under the edge of the air breather base. I may make a metal sleeve to protect it. I do NOT want to alter the base but. Don’t want the ac line damaged.

This is not my car. Here is a picture of the octopus of A/C that lives in a 1970 R/T with a factory unit. Couldn’t get the N96 option if you opted for the Air Condition.

I made a sleeve to protect the a/c line. It’s a piece of 18 gauge I bent, rounded the edges and wrapped in electrical tape. It was a quick solution. I might make a prettier one and plastic dip it

I had a problem with the air-condition manifold set I was using. I tightened the fittings too much and I bent the shrader valves when I opened the system. Lucky I checked them before I charged it with Freon. I got new valves at Napa and the ICON Charging set. Night and Day difference. ICONs system was $$ but it worked perfectly with no problems. It has back flow protection on the lines and did not bend any thing. I installed the CLASSIC AUTO AIR system on my car and it works! Wasn't that hard. I had to think for myself and problem solve. The pdf directions do give you a basic idea but they leave out quite a bit. I called the help line when it came time to add the Freon they were not that helpful. The directions on their web site mix the description between the hand filling method and the machine. They made no sense. I think they are afraid of law suites and discouraged me from doing it. They did give me a good hint on charging. You have to get the low pressure gauge up to 50psi before you start the car and turn on the a/c. Also do NOT turn the can upside down only add gas! It takes a while to take in all the Freon.
