Back in the late 1970s a buddy and I ran around in a 70 R/T - B5 blue, white vinyl top and interior. It had bucket seats, a console automatic and no A/C. The engine was a 440 and the car had manual steering and drums on all four corners. A previous owner had a hi-rise intake on it, that had been replaced with the stock intake and four barrel carb, so it had this obnoxious white fiberglass reverse facing hood scoop on it. Memory says it stood several inches tall...enough that the local cops used to harass us about the obstructed vision.
Unfortunately, any pictures I had of the car were lost in a move long ago.
The car was purchased from a friend of a friend in the eastern suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio. Didn't keep the car long as the old man wouldn't foot the teenager insurance bill so it was sold at the end of the summer for somewhere around three grand.
I'm more interested in knowing if the car still exists but would entertain owning it again as well.
