I Found a 1970 Dodge Charger R/T 440 Manual console, Track Pack Car. Matching Vin Tag, Fender Tag, Radiator support, Trunk Rail and Door decal, All original power train but it is a barn find and in need of a complete restoration.

Overall sheet metal is in rough shape. Needs Quarter panels all around and I would assume trunk and maybe package tray. Repairs to some engine bay sheet metal...

Hood, Roof, Deck lid, Doors and Frame rails look OK but might need to be prepared for the worse once it is stripped.

Engine is there with matching 4 speed but both needs rebuilding. Most major parts are with the vehicle ie. glass, bumpers, radiator, steering. The interior and dash is complete but needs complete

restoration. Needs a new grill and overall car will need a lot of smaller parts needed for a barn find. ie. brakes, wheels, suspension parts, fuel tank, wiring harnesses etc..

Any idea what this would be worth to buy for a long term project. Also any opinion on how much a top level restoration would cost and what it might be worth after completion.

Thank you for any guidance

not sure about broadcast . It may be in the interior. It’s pretty unmolested inside so it might be. Where were they on 70’s. Will try to post pics soon.

Checkbook restoration... Bet I could have it done for less than $200K, Was a time I would have said 100K & been confident I would have money left at the end... Not anymore, everything has gotten expensive..

Most likely under the springs in the rear seat bottom...between the springs and the burlap and foam.

So I was hoping someone could tell me the max amount I should pay for it as is.

$8,000 if you're adventurous.

VIN: XS29U0G141298 is for sale in Sherman, Texas for $23,000 and hasn't sold. It was on ebay awhile back and did not sell at $20,000.
