That's not 1970 high back bucket stuff?

I wish I would have seen the tires earlier to implore you to go 295/45/18 nitto 555's. Get some sidewall on that thing.

I'll probably be burned at the stake for heresy, but I would go with Recaro seats instead of what you have shown.

A style like this:

Good advice. If purity isn't of prime importance, adding some aftermarket buckets is a big improvement. Side bolsters, better lumbar support, and much lower cost make it a worthwhile suggestion, especially if you're going to be doing donuts and taking corners without your butt sliding off the seat. I used my original seat tracks & brackets and fabricated my own adapter plates to mount these SCAT by ProCar Sportsman series seats in my Charger, and they were less than $300 (USD before conversion to CAD) each. ProCar makes some nicer all-black vinyl versions but they were about $200 CAD more, each...so these did the business for me.

The estimates I got to reupholster my existing buckets was 3 or 4 times higher than buying these.

295/45/18 is 28.4" tall I think, it's all the sidewall you're gonna get without modifications to the wheel wells.

I had that size on the red Charger. I thought the sidewalls were taller than I wanted.

Looking back, they look pretty good. Better than I remembered. Maybe I’ll buy them in that size when I replace what I have. Mine never measured then 28.4 number. I came up with 27 3/4 as measured with the car in the air.

Contact Scat/Procar to see if they will donate or sell you a set of seats for the car.. Much better than stock..
Only go with 15 inch wheels if you like junk tires..

Aftermarket seats would be better than wrong year stuff. If you can’t score some high backs, go aftermarket. Mopar guys get all twitchy when wrong year parts, wheels, and paint show up. Just the way we are.

Although I don't disagree with what has been said about seats, I don't think seat types/years will impact raffle ticket sales. The majority of the raffle ticket sales will not be to the Mopar community.
