Hey All
I have a rare rotisserie restored 1970 Plymouth Sport Satellite.

I need the correct radio bezel, the one in the car is the wrong wood grain. If anyone has one or knows where to find one please let me know.

Does Anyone have production numbers on how many were made optioned with the following like mine?

Factory 4 speed
Factory 383 4 bbl
Factory AC

I know it’s of 1 of 1 as optioned in the white on white combo with those options but I’ve never seen production numbers on just the 383 + 4 speed + Ac option. Can’t be many?
- Factory alpine white exterior

- Factory white interior

- Factory 4 speed (number match)

- Hurst pistol grip

- Factory 383 4 bbl ( number match )

- Factory Air conditioning

- Light package

- Front Disk brakes

- Factory tinted glass

A few upgrades include

- dr Diff 11.75 disk brakes

- firm feel upper control arms.

- bulge hood

( I have the original restored hood )

I know what it’s worth, I don’t really need input on that, but if you have info on production numbers I’m all ears

Nice car. Not much breakdown information for any Mopars. Your 70 Sport Satellite with a 383 4 barrel and 4 speed is one of 185.

Can't be too many in your color combo with only 185 total built! The car is essentially a Road Runner with GTX trim and interior. Probably ordered this way to beat the high insurance rates they were charging for muscle cars back in 1970.

Contact Gaylen Govier. That dude makes his living on documenting cars.
If you can catch him away from the “all you can eat buffet” and if he isn’t opening people’s hoods at car shows to see fender tags, maybe he could help out.

I had the same car in 1968 version my parents ordered it new Nov 1967
(we got to attend Ronnie Sox's class too, thrown in on the deal for me & my stepdad)
except it was GG1 (dark Racing Green) white top (HT)
& white bucket seat interior, but no consoles thou, black carpet
383 4bbl 4 speed, A/C, Decore & Light package
Roadwheels with F70/14 fronts & F60/14 Uniroyals rear,
installed at the SF Chrysler Plymouth too
(all chrome wheels people seem to call Magnum 500's, no poverty caps)
My stepdad also had 3.91:1 rear gears & Sure Grip installed before we picked it up...
It was my mom's 1st new car...
I bought/traded for that car
my stepdad wanted a slant 6/225cid 71 Demon 3 on the tree, for a commuter car
I had when I was about 2 years out of HS in 1979 (I still had my 68 Charger R/T too)
I had it (Sport Sat.) for at least 14 years, a bunch of different engine/trans combos

no idea how many they made, in any years

good luck phishing

they didn't keep very good books on that stuff, unless it went to Canada
I enjoy hearing stories of people or people's parents buying these cars brand new! My parents bought this Charger R/T SE new in 1970,it was our family car until 1982.
