1 of 2,172 with automatic trans.
WS23U1AXXXXXX
GY3 Citron Yella with black top and interior.
N96 fresh air induction with V21 hood performance treatment and V6X longitudinal tape stripes.
M71 & M72 painted front and rear bumpers.
Bucket seats, non console column auto.
Not original engine or trans but a freshly rebuilt `71 440 HP block.
Have original build sheet but was missing the fender tag. Had reproduction fender tag made from the info on the build sheet so tag is strictly ornamental as there is info on the tag that can not be gotten from the build sheet.
3.23 sure grip.
Everything new or rebuilt on this car from front to back and was restored per the codes on the build sheet with the exception of the wheels and tires and the wheel opening moldings. We opted to put 15" rallyes on it but it's actually coded for painted steel wheels with hub caps and it should have the wheel opening moldings but doesn't.
The car is registered with the `71 Charger registry and the guy I spoke with was beside himself in disbelief that this car was ordered with the painted bumpers and not the matching racing mirrors. It is coded for the dual chrome racing mirrors.
This car is very rare indeed and is stunning.
More info and pics available to seriously interested parties, no trades. Car is located in the Detroit area and can be seen most anytime.
Asking $42,900

Here are some more pics of the details. This was a very solid car to begin with and required no major panel replacement at all.

WOW!!!!! I was always a 70 snob until I saw this. VERY nice !!!!! ( OK, 70 is still the BEST year for MOPARS !!!!) :laughing7:

That is a beauty Matt!! Good luck with the sale...

Neat looking car Matt. Must have been nice having a solid starting foundation on this restoration. Good luck with the sale.

Wow! What a beauty, eh. I'm always torn between a '69 or a '71 Charger. Wish I had the greenback for such a fine R/T. GLWS.

Wow. What a nice car. And unusual, too. Buckets, no console and auto on the column. I like that kinda weirdness.

Wow Matt!! Great color on that car. The black interior contrast really makes it all happen. Shouldn't have any problem whatsoever moving that car.

Wow now that's a HIGH IMPACT color. Nice car and good luck. I presume that's the AG hood you worked. Came out very nice.

Thanks guys. It is a very unusual car and is a whole lot of fun to be seen in. The resto was well under way when we got it and the p.o. was going to convert it to a console shifted auto and we thought it best to put it back to the way it rolled off the line. One of the unusual things that make this already rare car that much more interesting. I can't wait for he weather to change so I can get a few more opportunities to drive it before it goes on to its new owner.

Beautiful. Never really appreciated GY3 until now. Good luck with the sale!

It's a great color for this car and the painted bumpers really set it off. If you don't own a good pair of shades you can't even look at this car in the direct sunlight, its blinding! And yes Bill, this is where your hood came from.

Hi Matt,

GY3 looks simply great.
Good luck with the sale

Carsten

Spent some more time with it over this long winter and just cleaned it up in time for the summer cruising season, asking 42K.
