I'm installing a 5.7 hemi from a 2004 pickup into my Satellite. I'm using the 545RE trans. My question is for anyone that has done this before, how much cutting did you have to do in the tunnel to make it fit. I've cut the tunnel and have the trans clearing in the front part, but the tail cone fins are hitting the sides of the cross member. I had not read anywhere that this had to be cut and modified as well to make this fit. I'm about 2 inches away from it mating up with the engine. Would really like to hear from someone else that has done this what they did to make this fit before I cut anymore.

Thanks in advance

You can just shave off the ribbing. They are a structural support so don't go crazy.
