I am finishing out the restoration of the body of my 72 SE Charger. I am diving into the mechanical of the engine to make sure this beast is road worthy.
I have been smelling a great amount of gas when the engine is running so I bought a fuel line - pump to carb - from summit. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/RSD-RPC6808 I tried to figure out what to do with this and couldn't find anywhere how to install this. I assume it is the wrong part. Any advice on this issue? I'm fairly new to this and I pretty much have the direction of a lost puppy. Anything will help. I attached a picture of the engine bay - it is a 400 big block, all original parts.

Any other recommendations on what to change out before hitting the roads? Engine was rebuilt within the last 5-10 years. 83000 miles are currently on it.
Thanks for the help!
