Trying to install a headliner in a 74 charger se , never did one befor !! Car was a shell in boxes when purchased , in 07 wow time flys , have 4 bows all have red paint on one end and green on the other 2 front bows seem to be the same size 49.5 when i put them in even with out headliner they are so tight they bend in a s , i ordered a new set from dantes and the ends are straight , the factory ones have a notch or a hook on the end to slide into hole . The new ones are straight and dont fit in holes in roof , dante and tom from rt specialties say 73- 74 dont use bow clips . When i got the car in boxes there were lots of extra parts from more than one car . Thats why i ordered new ones , im going to cut down and re weld them shorter if all else fails !! Resto ricks site has all info on 70 and down and e bodyies . Any info or help thanks !!
