Was not an option on the '79 300. Most likely installed by a dealership.
I was just ribbing ya :p :poke:

But they do look close enough to say that it might have been a factory made package sent to the dealerships.
That's certainly what it appears to be, regarding 66 charger vinyl tops. And a few 67s

The red vinyl top is for those that didn't already overdose their retinas from the red interior.

That one seems to get around. Was for sale a while back in Escondido, CA.

Not mine. I looked into buying but talked myself out of it. Not enough time to bring back, someone else had the time.

Car was sold. $1,200 no title orginal and complete. Sat in that spot for 20 years but was not crusty underneath. Only rust through was on drivers side hood by wiper.

Found this at the local pick n pull. Went looking because they showed 2 Cordobas in stock and didn't realize what I was looking at till I saw the "300" etched in the opera windows. It's a 318-2bbl (vin G) car, which had me confused as the registry seems to show all of them came with a 360. Now that I look again it looks like there is 1 vin G car on there. I looked for a build sheet in the back seat cushion but didn't see one.

Edit: now that I look at the fender tag again it shows a different vin. Wonder if someone made a clone? Body tag VIN shows SS22L9R165020.
