2.5 tail pipe 71 Satellite.

Just got back from the exhaust shop,they installed my new mufflers, 2.5 in and out.the bummer they could not bend me new tail pipes, they said to get some and we will install.My question hows the fit on 71 Road Runner - 71 Satellite 2.5 tail pipes.or 2 1/4 witch 1 should i go for.They said they do not have a mandrel machine for bending . thoughts .

I would stay with 2.5 inch all the way.

Plenty of room with 2.5" . Find someone with a mandrel or maybe Accurate exhaust.
