Following NHRA's lead, the round win points for the Finals at Pomona are going to be 15 points each round instead of the usual 10.

Congratulations to 'Budnicks' (FBBO), 2nd week in a row, and 'cuda20' (FABO) for sharing the Top Qualifier title of the 2017 NHRA Toyota Nationals with a very nice total of 28.0 bonus points each. They both picked the #1 qualifier in Pro Stock Motorcycle, the #2 qualifier in Top Fuel, the #3 qualifier in Pro Stock and the #6 qualifier in Funny Car. Way to go!
'johnnycuda' (FABO) was right behind in the runner-up spot with 27.5 bonus points.

* 4 different Top Fuel drivers. No Round 1 head-to-head matchup possibilities, but one possible head-to-head matchup in Round 2 of eliminations.
* 5 different Funny Car drivers. Two Round 1 head-to-head matchups. One between #3 qualifier Robert Hight (2 picks) and #14 qualifier Tim Wilkerson (1 pick); and one between #6 qualifier Ron Capps (8 picks) and #11 qualifier John Force (1 pick). The winners of those races will face each other in Round 2 of eliminations.
* 3 different Pro Stock drivers and no possible head-to-head matchups until the semi-finals

Hey guys, the Toyota Nationals results are going to be a few days late.
The World Series TV coverage started right after the Las Vegas coverage and the game is only in the 8th inning right now.
I've got a friend coming over to visit after work tomorrow and Game 6 of the World Series will be on Tuesday and Game 7 (if necessary) will be on Wednesday. Games start just before I get home from work.
I'll get to the results as soon as I can.
