2025 15th Annual FABO NHRA "Pick 'Em" Game - I Can't Wait!!!

Bad news today as the Scrappers team announced they are parking the car for the next 4 races due to lack of sponsorship. Said they hope to be back in June. They are 5th in points and the only team to get through the first round at every race.
yeah 1 car team, I think they are getting parts from Capco/Torrences too
they will run a limited schedule supposedly this season, not sure about Steve either
with Mike/Jasmin's dad's scrapping & recycling service, valley services (garbage)
among others in the Pleasanton/Livermore Ca. area, I believe also a ready mix outfit
I think Mike Selinas owns too, doing all most the sponsorship...
He/Mike also sponsors a bike in P/SM with the other daughter/rider,
for Matt Smith Racing/Buell

Jasmin T/F she was doing well, she acted/talked like she was struggling, really down/hard on herself
when being interviewed on camera, I wonder if it is something else, other than just $$...
Mike/Dad is recovering from heart bypass surgery... Looked great on TV when they last showed him...

Here's your 'Tuesday before the race' notice for the 15th annual American Rebel Light NHRA Four-Wide Nationals, April 25-27, at zMax Dragway in Concord, NC.
Please check the driver entries and post your picks before Pro Stock and Nitro qualifying starts so you will be eligible for all event bonus points. The first of the scheduled four rounds of Pro qualifying is scheduled to start at 4:30pm EDT (1:30pm PDT) on Friday.
As of this morning nhra.com currently shows the following entries:
18 Top Fuel
18 Funny Car
25 Pro Stock
16 Pro Stock Motorcycle

I suggest you double-check to make sure your drivers are racing since there were some no-shows at each of the first four events of the season. If your posted driver skips the event and you do not select a replacement prior to the start of eliminations, I will use your posted driver from the most recent completed event. Unfortunately, any replacement driver after the start of qualifying will not be eligible for any event bonus points.

Also, there are drivers in all four professional classes at this event competing for the first time this year.

Wow Brittany set a new speed record last night in TF at 341.59. She ran 301 in the 1/8. That's pure horse power there.

Not only pure horsepower, but also ALL of the correct settings and adjustments to get the power to the ground.
Also outstanding track conditions.

Wow KB Titan is kicking some *** in PS. Miss piggy qualified 16 and all 3 Quadra's and Aron Stanfield didn't make the show. Changing of the guard in PS. DG out qualified GA by .17 MPH in PS.

Congratulations to 'stroked340' (FABO) for winning (second consecutive week) the 2025 American Rebel Light NHRA Four-Wide Nationals Top Qualifier title with an outstanding total of 31.0 bonus points. He correctly picked the #1 qualifiers in both Top Fuel and Pro Stock Motorcycle, and the #2 qualifiers in both Funny Car and Pro Stock.
'GTXDAN' (FBBO) was right behind with 30.0 bonus points.

More great picks!

We have 15 players again this week and 14 different driver combos made up of:
* 6 different Top Fuel drivers with three different Round 1 Quads containing 2 drivers each.
* 5 different Funny Car drivers with two Round 1 Quads containing 2 drivers each, and one Round 1 Quad contains 1 picked driver.
* 3 different Pro Stock drivers with one Round 1 Quad containing 2 picked drivers, and one Round 1 Quad contains 1 picked driver.

Good luck all!

Elite Motorsports has reported they're still trying to figure out engine combinations following the change in spec fuel to VP Racing Fuel's C-25 racing fuel. Evidently the burn rate is different than the fuel previously used.

Why :BangHead: did :BangHead: I :BangHead: stop :BangHead: picking :BangHead: Austin Prock?!:BangHead:

oc- lock me back in for Austin for FC. Now, Fast Jack will start winning.

Another "blind squirrel" episode for 'ocdart'?! 144.5 points for the 2025 15th annual American Rebel Light NHRA Four-Wide Nationals in Concord, NC. Whether it was the "blind squirrel" or a crystal ball, he ended up with the class winners of Funny Car, Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle. His Top Fuel pick finished 4th in the final Quad of eliminations.
