Congratulations to both 'johnnycuda' (FABO) and 'memike' (FABO) for sharing the 2025 Virginia NHRA Nationals Top Qualifier title with an outstanding total of 23.5 bonus points each. They each correctly picked the #1 qualifiers in both Top Fuel and Funny Car, and the #2 qualifier in Pro Stock Motorcycle.
'cuda20' (FABO) was right behind with 22.0 bonus points.
'Nick2317' was the highest-scoring FBBO qualifier with 21.0 points

More great picks!

We have 15 players again this week and 13 different driver combos made up of:
* 6 different Top Fuel drivers with one Round 1 head-to-head matchup between #1 qualifier Brittany Force (4 picks) and #14 qualifier Tony Stewart (7 picks). There is also a possibility of one head-to-head matchup in Round 2 if both drivers survive.
* 5 different Funny Car drivers with no Round 1 head-to-head matchups. There is a possibility of two head-to head matchups in Round 2 if all drivers survive.
* 3 different Pro Stock Motorcycle drivers. The earliest possibility of a head-to-head matchup is the Semi-Final Round of eliminations if both riders survive until then.

Good luck all!

nhra.com article says the Virginia Top Fuel final results are under review for a possible rules infraction on Langdon's car...

Prock, Herrera bring the heat with key wins at American Rebel Light Virginia Nats

UPDATE:
NHRA ruled Justin Ashley the Top Fuel winner of the Virginia Nationals. Shawn Langdon's final elimination run was disqualified because of a rulebook violation related to missing bolts on the bellhousing inspection cover. Per the NHRA Rulebook and related SFI Spec 6.2, the cover is required to be secured by no less than 12 bolts. During a post-run inspection, the cover on Langdon’s dragster did not meet the requirement of 12 secured bolts.

The points shown in post #205 have been corrected.

Dang down 3-4 spots

that young southerner Harley boy, Brayden Davis in P/SM
was looking good till the final rd, when teammate Gaige beat him

qualifying killed me

I go down 3 spots,
T/F Antron Brown laid an egg,
went out early & didn't qualify well

F/C Austin Prock did well, got a lil' lucky & WIN

P/SM Gaige Herrera took out the hot teammate in the finals, WIN

how do I get 2 wins & go down 4 spots :BangHead:

Summit/GETREX Norwalk, picks
stick with my "locked in picks"

Probably going to be another hot one, slick track, smoke fest
too bad T/F Tony Stewart got sick, I think it messed him up, still leading points
but; If I pick him he will surely lose :BangHead:

lets see if T/F A. Brown can do something, worthy
&
F/C Austin Prock can qualify better, not a smoke fest

I think Gaige or Brayden will win P/SM,
Harley's are hot right now
(If not Matt Smith/Buell maybe)

I hope P/S G. Anderson doesn't lay an egg, I need the point back
keeps the dominance going for KB/Titan,
kick 'Elite's butt' again in more that one way

Good luck everyone
