Ok.
Ive got a set of BFG radial TAs in a 245.60.15
I need to put tires on the back of my new to me 67 coronet.
Its sitting at a stock height. On 15x7 torque thrust wheel. Tires on it now are a 216.65.15 Firestone firehawk. That are probably 20 plus years old and cracked

I took these tires off my 66 Satellite . But it has SS springs and sits just a hair taller in the rear.

Do you gents think they will clear on the Dodge????

245s are just over an inch wider in section than your 215s. So, if you have room for a half inch more tire in both directions, they will fit.

With ss springs you can fit 275/60/15 tires on 15x8 wheels with 5 inch backspace.

Thanks,
Looks like I have a little more than that.very little

Fingers crossed they fit

I have 245/60/15's on 15x8 rims on the rear of my 67 coronet 500. With mopar xhd leaf springs. Fit fine. But you need to raise the rear of the car and unload the rear suspension to get them on or off.

I have 255/60/15's on the back of the HP2. There is about 3/8" clearance to the quarter lip and a good 1.5" to the springs at the back. Another 3/4" of back space and you could get 275's on it.

My Satellite is the same way. Its got 245-60-15 on 15x7 magnums and the only way to get the tire off is raise the body

Coronet has 15x7 Torque thrusts and Im hopefull the TAs will fit under it as well . But it sits lower the my Satellite .
It does have air shocks which Im planning to remove
