Got to thinking that I'm making a big deal of this but this is my first time to install new gears just FOR ME!! That didn't even cross my mind until today. Had a couple of new cars and never gave it any thought with them and never had any problems. Oh well, after running a couple of errands and filling up, went down a road that's 55 mph and after several miles (maybe 15 miles or so and with traffic lights), the rear end cover temp was only 120. Guess that's a good thing that it's not getting hot? Had rear ends that you couldn't put your hand on the cover for more than a couple of seconds. Kinda odd that it has a faint whine at 60. Got it up to 65 and didn't hear it anymore and can just barely lift the throttle and no whine. Also got a bit of chatter from the Power Lock on a couple of turns while taking off from a stop light.....
