383 engine identification help needed

The question I had is can I get the info. from the number I supplied. This engine is not original to the car. I think it might have come from a Duster but I really don't know.
Can't say it didn't. But that combination would be doubtful and if it did it would be worth way more in the Duster than out.

It had B 383 HP on it. The assembly date was Feb. 1966 and it was in my 66 charger which had a SPD a few days after the engine date. I don't have the car anymore.

They made some 383,s with 4 barrel and hp manifolds and 10.1 pistons and didn't have hp cast on the pad they were 330horsepower engine while hp motors had 335 hp with dual valve springs I have the 330 without hp in a 68 sport fury

Terry, this is my old charger I believe. Sent you a message on FB. Happy to help connect the dots and catch up.

This day and age the HP would be meaningless. To many miles and the components that made it a HP would like be worn out anyway. Everything but intake, carb, pistons, valve springs and cam where pretty much the same. Some used different heads.
For rebuild purposes the HP on the block means nothing but brag rights.
