383 runs lil ruff when warm

Loulang,
You can see the PCV/ hook up in post #39. PCV has hose attached, sticking out of pass side valve cover. Hard to see, but hose should go to carb base, rear.

This is how you hook it up. Can go to either v/cover. Hose usually goes to front of carb, in the base, 3/8" fitting. PCV should rattle when you shake it. If not, it is gunked up & needs cleaning.

Having the PCV system set up properly is good for your engine, but I think we got off on a tangent and I doubt that is contributing to your original problem.
Ya it’s still doing it. I did the pcv system and still sputtering. I also adjusted the trans linkage

Look down the carb and see what kind of pump shot you get when you move the throttle back. Not running of course.
Ok will do but I have a question, right now it has the edelbrock 750 and I wanted to get the Holley sniper efi 750 or should I just stay with no efi, and wondering should I stay with the 750?

Guess I should also add that I can just cruise the car with it not sputtering, She only does it when she’s warm and I stab the gas.

yes make sure you are getting gas with pump shot and if you are move the pump to the top hole see if it makes a difference. if that does not help your timing could be retarded.

I would work on getting the bog out 1st. Could be carb could be timing.
750 cfm should be fine.
EFI is great but expensive but that call is up to you. There are threads on the subject that you can search for or if anyone knows a good one can add the link.

The Edel/Carter AFB & AVS carbs are the most reliable 4bbl carbs EVER made. Set & forget.
So the smart move would be to find out what is wrong with your carb & use it. It could be adjustment or it may not be carb related.
