383 To 440 in 71 roadrunner headers wont fit, Suggestions please?

Hi, I am new to the site. I have a 71 roadrunner 4 spd car that had a 383 with headers. Just dropped a 440 in and the same headers get against the passenger inner fender/shock tower.
I know the 440 is taller and broader so that explains it. Can anyone tell me what they are running for a header in a car like mine so I can buy something that fits. Thanks,

Billy what size headers are we talking? I got a 72 road runner with a 440 in it and my 1 7/8" headers with 3 inch collectors fit, but it is tight! I did have to massage them a bit.

I'm in the same boat. I have a '69 440HP in my '72 roadrunner with Hedman headers. They took a little convincing with a hammer, but they certainly fit. If you look around the site more, I've seen threads on here that discuss a certain brand of headers that fit with no issue or hammers.
