4 speed firewall stiffener brkt location

Putting a 4 speed in an auto Charger. Anyone have a pic or information where that 4 speed firewall stiffener brkt goes? Thanks

Yeah, it's a thing.

It supports the clutch pedal bracket.

It's been years since I initially mocked up my pedals in the car, but I believe there are dimples in the firewall where the (2) holes need to be drilled.

Now I know what you're talking about. Those were spot welded on on 4-speed cars. As mentioned, the dimples are there.

There should be two dimples in the firewall that you can drill out.

actually they where already drilled ouT, but no stiffener there. Allset
