I looked at the TTI headers and boy are they proud of them $975 and up is pretty steep, then you look at all the footnotes about what other issues to look for. It's very frustrating that these performances manufacturer would do more research and development so we didn't send so many parts back to Summit, Jegs and other performance retailers. First instance Trick Flow should help out by posting products that they have used when testing.

It's funny you ask if I had a girdle, a buddy of mine mentioned that to me today. And yes I do, with the wind age tray and 3 thick rubber Moroso pan gaskets. The motor mounts are correct and new. My buddy suggested we might have to modify the mounts to raise the motor up to get the clearance needed on the center link to the oil pan. He had to do it to his Dart when he put a big block in it yrs ago. As far as the headers we'll just heat them up where I need the clearance and use a large impact socket and hammer to make a nice contoured bend in the tube. I'm not a big fan of expensive fancy chrome parts on the motor to dress things up. But the only thing not new on the motor is the block. We all know these cars are endless money pits and that's a big reason builds drag on for 1-5 years, I'm into my 3rd year now on my GTX, it just seems now its put it together take it apart. It's like putting a 2000 piece puzzle together. Time and patience required. Thanks for responding I'll try to get some pictures posted for everyone.

IDK if anyone's mentioned the "402" pan, which is IIRC the factory application, or the Milodon copy.

Terry, just re-read the thread. Completely missed that you had a "front sump" pan from Summit. The correct pan is a mid sump, such as the 402 pan. I agree TTI headers aren't cheap, what's your time & mental attitude worth? My TTI's fit really good, I've read others say the Doug's are good also. Good luck.

Does TTI on their website say whether their headers fit with say a Lakewood scattershield never saw anything about that?

No I didn't see them list anything about scattershields.

My oil pan was a 7qt from 440 source and the headers were Patriots from Summit. I'll take a look at the Doug's, thanks.
