No April Fools joke! I'm the second owner of my '66 Coronet 500 that I bought in Denver in 1980, and picked it up a year later (I was stationed in Alaska then!). Still with me today.

Whats on top of fender badge?

Since there were no "361" badges ever produced, that is "361" pinstriped there, above the factory "V-8" callout. My name and my wife's name are above the door handles. Been there since 1986.

I'd been tempted many times to put a pair of "383 Four-Barrel" emblems I bought new in 1988 on the car...but it's not a 383, and the pinstriping there is different.

Nothing wrong with that. I have the same car with the removable top, and had considered putting the 383 badges on as well. The holes are undrilled at this point.

I bet you wish you had that Connie, too.
Nice 'Net!

Good looking car and something to be proud of

Nice Coronet
