'489 Differential Numbering Identification: stamped on the ring gear edge

I have an 8 3/4 '489 differential rear end I removed from my '71 Charger, and I'd like to know what all the numbers mean that are stamped on the ring gear edge.

2800270, then a - ?
3.23 (I'll bet this means its gear ratio is 3.23
MS 29 ?
3 11 71 (DOM) ?

The housing is stamped 2881489

Although it looks clean and all the gears look great, I intend on taking it out and putting in a DR Diff Sure-Grip when I have a job again, and am back being whole and towards earning and spending!

Just as an added note, Dr. Diff's sure trac 2 is excellent. Highly recommend. I beat the ever living sh1t out of mine and runs like a champ.
