50 year old songs that still sound great.

Couldn't find the original but it's close.

I honor of my Dad. He always loved Roy Orbison. I have found myself listening to him lately and he really had some great hits. He always love “Only the Lonely” as well.

whether you are a fan of James Cordon or not, this is well worth watching if you are a Beatles fan. This is very well done.

Some of you need to check your math.
50 year old songs. A.K.A versions recorded before 1970.

the doors of course

Recorded March-May 1970. Close enough!

Heavy rock and metal is my thing....and this is definitely not either!!!.....but i love this song and its always on the USB stick in my daily driver!! Certainly over 50 years old (61 in fact) recorded in 1959!

Pretty much all the Beatles, the Rolling Stones and my personal favorite, Credence clear water revival, John Fogerty has the best voice for rock and roll.

50 years ago was 1972...so there is a LOT of potential material.

A good portion of which is still played on mainstream modern "rock" radio today.

I hear "War Pigs" from the 1970 Sabbath album at least 3 times a week.

Sometimes I will put on 'Reflections of my Life' by Marmalade. Something about that song from the year of 1969-1970. A lot of **** was happening then and I had a front row seat to a lot of it and still have emotions about many things then. There's a newer version that Dean Ford sings and produced by Joe Tansin back in I think 2012. It's just beautiful.
