Just built this 1200ish BLP carb for my dads race car. Thought I’d put it on the old roadrunner to dial it in. All I can say is this roadrunner is an absolute beast with this carb. I’ve ran about every size carb on this car that you can including six packs as it’s kinda been a big learning experiment for me. I gotta laugh when I see people afraid to put big carbs on these engines 500+ cubes. This by far is the strongest running carb I’ve had on this car. As far as drivability, excellent! Took it in a 50 mile cruise yesterday. Ran high 13’s low 14’s at cruise. Not sure I’m going to give the is one up for the race car now.. lol. Also did a little porting and powder coating on this Indy single plane I picked up.

That won't work on the street, it'll dump too much fuel especially in that heavier car, the formula says you should be using a 750 vacuum secondary carb....what are you thinking....
:rofl: :rofl::rofl:

Awesome job as usual Nevin! Your results speak for themselves.
The Laws boys make some sweet carbs don't they.
And what's that on your fuel line? Looks like that protective pvc wrap stuff but hard to tell on my screen.

Thanks! And Yes, top notch parts!! it’s just a heat sleeve.

None of this makes sense. Carb is waaaay too big and not edelbrocky enough.
Can't believe it runs?
